Plan a Visit
***ALL SERVICES HAVE BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS.
If you are planning your first visit to one of the Grace Bible Church campuses (Maple or Refuge), you are our honored guest. Here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your trip. At the Refuge Campus (1289 Jewett) we have one service that meets at 10 am. At our Maple Campus (13oo S. Maple), we have three Sunday services which take place at 9:30 am, 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. For maps and more information about our services and office hours, please visit our Contact Us page.
Can I attend if I'm _________?
Think about how you might fill in that blank. At one point or another, all of us feel that there are things about our lives that keep us from coming to church. But we trust that God is a loving God who wants to redeem us from our brokenness. So, whatever you might put in that blank, know that God is not surprised by it and that it would be His great desire for you find a family of faith that can help lead you to a place of wholeness and relationship with Him. That is what "Grace" is all about.
What do you do for kids?
Our GraceKids (both campuses) and KidsClub (Maple campus) ministries serve children 5th grade and younger. We seek to help children experience Jesus on their level. On Sunday mornings, GraceKids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own time of singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time. We are passionate about children having fun while they learn about Jesus, so we are sure they will have a great time. Sunday evenings, at our Maple Campus, our KidsClub uses Awana curriculum to teach children that Jesus loves them. This is accomplished through Bible lessons, Bible memory and energetic game times. As you enter the building, if you do not see a GraceKids or KidsClub sign simply ask a greeter where to go, and they can get you started registering your kids for the morning ministry and direct you to the children's wing. Once your child is registered, you can walk back with them to see where their classroom is and meet some of the volunteers on the way. Ultimately, if it turns out that your child is more comfortable in the service on your visit, you can feel free to take them with you into the sanctuary. For nursing mothers, there is space in the nursery set up with you in mind. Feel free to use that space as much or as little as you like.
What about the middle and high school students?
Our student ministries meet together at the Maple campus in “the BOX” on Sunday nights (middle school at 5pm), and on Sunday nights (high school at 6:30pm). The middle school also meets on Sunday mornings at the Maple Campus in “the BOX” during the 2nd service. Most new families take their students with them to Sunday service and then let their student visit the corresponding youth group on Sunday night. However, if your student wants to jump right in on a Sunday morning during 2nd hour, just ask a person with a lanyard where the other students are meeting, and they will be sure to direct you there. (The “BOX” is the youth building in the back parking lot of the Maple campus.)
