Stock Gifts

Thank you for considering a gift of stock to Grace Bible Church! Gifts of stock may allow you to avoid capital gains tax on the increased value of the stock, in addition to providing you with a tax deduction for the value of the stock. Please ask your financial or tax advisor if this is a viable option for you.

How to give stock to Grace Bible Church:

1. Notify your broker to transfer a specified number of shares of stock to Grace Bible Church’s account with Edward Jones.
   To insure the transfer is processed correctly, complete and give to your broker the

   Grace Bible Church Stock Gift Instructions Form.

   
   
   
2. Complete and return to the GBC office by mail or email the 

   Grace Bible Church Notification of Stock Gift Form.

   (Please note that GBC will receive a record of receipt of the stock, but the record will not state your name. In order to issue an acknowledgement of the gift for tax purposes, GBC needs to know that you donated the stock.)
