Grace Group Commitment 2026
GRACE GROUP COMMITMENT
Grace Groups are Christ-centered communities where we intentionally build relationships, explore God's Word, and live out our faith together. They are designed to be more than a Bible study—they are a place where people are known, cared for, challenged, and encouraged to follow Jesus alongside one another.
Because meaningful discipleship and authentic community take time to develop, Grace Groups require a greater level of commitment than many other ministries. Trust is built through consistency, and lasting relationships are formed by regularly showing up for one another. While we understand that vacations, illnesses, work, and unexpected circumstances will occasionally keep someone away, we ask every member to make their Grace Group a priority and participate as consistently as possible.
If your current season of life doesn't allow for that kind of commitment, that's completely okay. We would love to help you connect with another ministry where you can grow spiritually until you're ready to fully invest in a Grace Group.
As a Grace Group, we commit to welcome, discover, apply, and serve—believing that God uses authentic community to shape us more into the image of Jesus.
We commit to Welcome.
Jesus welcomed us when we were far from Him, and now we do the same for each other. We commit to building a group culture that is warm, safe, and inviting. We will consistently show up, be fully present, care for one another, and extend the kind of love that draws people in. We recognize that our presence matters because every time we gather, someone may need encouragement, prayer, or simply the reminder that they are not alone.
Romans 15:7
"Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."
We commit to Discover.
God's Word is living and active, and He invites us to know Him more deeply through it. Together, we commit to discovering who God is and how He is working in our lives. We will ask honest questions, wrestle with truth, listen well, and encourage one another to continually grow in wisdom, faith, and obedience.
Jeremiah 29:13
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
We commit to Apply.
Following Jesus isn't just about hearing truth—it's about living it. We commit to putting God's Word into practice in our relationships, our decisions, and our everyday lives. We will lovingly encourage one another toward obedience, celebrate spiritual growth, and provide accountability as we become more like Christ together.
James 1:22
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."
We commit to Serve.
God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve others. We commit to looking not only to our own needs but also to the needs of those around us—within our Grace Group, our church family, and our community. Serving is not simply something we do; it is an expression of Christ's love and a privilege we joyfully share together.
Galatians 5:13
"Through love serve one another."
Grace Groups work best when everyone views them as a commitment to people, not simply a meeting on the calendar.
