Letter from The GBC Elders
November 29th, 2023
Dear GBC Family,
It is hard to believe that 2023 is coming to a close with the Christmas season quickly
approaching. We praise God for the work He has done this past year. We have seen our services continue to grow as the Gospel goes out from our beautiful A-frame, a place that has become a sanctuary to so many. From packed pews, to jammed parking lots, we have seen God use our church to draw new and old believers to Himself. We have witnessed God’s faithfulness and your generosity through the Reunion Initiative and have seen very a real and tangible fruit as the dirt has moved and the building structure has gone up. Just imagine the lives that will be shaped through that building in the years and decades to come.
Sunday morning is just a glimpse of the ministries happening each week at Grace Bible Church. We are blessed with youth ministries ranging from GraceKids and Kids Club to Catalyst and our College Ministries. These ministries help grow our youth into disciples of Christ. We are blessed with Forge Men’s Ministry, MOPS, Women’s Ministry, Embrace Grace and so many more. This year we are also mentoring our first Missions Resident and Pastoral Resident. These programs help form us into “doers of the Word, and not hearers only.”
All of this work requires so many volunteers and the tireless efforts of our church staff. The work we see on a daily and weekly basis is but a glimmer of the work done behind the scenes to help facilitate our church and disciple us into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and one other. They pray for us, minister to us, encourage us, and most importantly, love us. We are so blessed to have the leaders that we have.
It is now our turn to bless and encourage those who selflessly serve our church. As we do each year, we invite you to say thank you in person to the staff members who care for you and your family. If you are able, we are accepting donations which will be given to the staff as a Christmas gift expressing our appreciation for their love and service. You can do so in the following ways:
* Give online at graceA2.org/give and use the Special Giving Opportunities section.
* Mail a check to 1300 S. Maple Rd, AA, 48103, payable to Grace Bible Church, with “Staff Christmas Gift” in the memo line.
* Place your gift in an envelope marked “Staff Christmas Gift” and drop into the Giving Boxes in the back of the sanctuary.
On behalf of the GBC elder board, we thank God for your ongoing commitment to our church
and for the generous ways you serve our church and our community. We wish you hope and joy this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ; the Author of our salvation.
In Christ,
David Brzezinski, Christopher Cummings, Jack Geddes,
Michael Hodges, Bill Logozzo, Andrew Rosko and David Scott
